ลักษณะของหินธรรมชาติชนิดต่างๆ
1. หินทราย ( Sandstone)
มีลักษณะเนื้อหยาบ จับดูระคายมือ โดยที่พบตามธรรมชาติมีทั้งหมด 5 สี คือ สีแดง สีเหลือง สีเขียวเทา สีขาวลาย และสีเหลืองลาย สามารถใช้ได้ทั้งปูผนังบ้านและปูพื้นทางเดินในสวน
Sandstone is composed by very fine texture and it has rough skin. Theres colors are often red , yellow , grey , white or yellow with fine stripes. Sandstone is recommended for wall or to build side walk in the garden.
2. หินกรวดแม่น้ำ ( Pebble )
ลักษณะผิวเรียบ มน มีทั้งกลมและแบน ส่วนใหญ่จะพบตามแม่น้ำ นิยมนำมาใช้ในการจัดสวน เนื่องจากมีความสวยงาม มีทั้งหมด 6 สี คือ สีขาว สีเทาฟ้า สีดำ สีส้ม สีน้ำตาล และสีเหลืองน้ำผึ้ง
Pebble has flat skin. Some are round and some are totally plain. Pebble sources are from the river. We select pebble to decorate garden by its colors like white , grey , black , orange , brown and honey yellow.
3. หินกาบ ( Slate )
เป็นหินที่มีลักษณะเป็นแผ่นซ้อนกันเป็นชั้น ๆ สีดำเข้มผสมสีน้ำตาลเข้มและอ่อนสลับกันไป หินกาบจะมีลักษณะเป็นรูปทรงอิสระ (Free Form) แต่ก็สามารถนำมาตัดเป็นทรงสี่เหลี่ยมได้
Slate is a kind of stone that composed by many layers of black and dark brown stones. Slate has free form and we can cut it for different use.
4. ศิลาแลง ( Laterite )
มีลักษณะรูพรุน ระบายอากาศได้ดี เหมาะกับการตกแต่งสวนหรือปูพื้นทางเดิน
There are many bubbles in laterite and that allow air flow inside. We often use laterite to do side walk in the garden.
